About Me
Hi guys! I'm Gabby and I'm nineteen years old. I have been watching Sasuke ever since I can remember. My brother would watch it all the time and I would sit with him in amazement of these athletes, and also confused because I had no idea what the commentators were saying! It had been awhile since I watched ninja warrior, then last summer I saw there was a full day marathon so I thought I would tune in. This was the first time I watched American Ninja Warrior and the first time I saw women compete. I watched Jessie Graff complete the qualifying round, which was a first for women in ANW, and I thought to myself I could do that! I've already been rock climbing for a year so that would help with my training and my brother has his own gym, and is training as a MMA fighter, could help train me too. I have created this blog to help keep me motivated to my ultimate goal, but to also show that anyone can make a healthy change. I will post updates on my training, diet, and personal accomplishments and struggles that I will have over the next two years. As I write this now (January 18th, 2014) I weigh 160 pounds and hope that this time next year I can be not skinny, but instead be fit and healthy. I do not know what weight that will be, but I will know in how I feel. Through my journey I vow to never use a scale, I will only base my health on how I feel and the changes I see happening in my body. I hope that I can motivate people in to not trying to become skinny because that is what society tells us to do, but to become healthy because that is more important than being skinny any day! Thank you for being on this journey with me and if you ever need motivation or want someone to talk you can email me!
