My rule of thumb for rest days is to eat a little less, since you do not need the extra calories for your workout, and pretty much be a coach potato to allow your body to have a full recovery. You also want to make sure that you get a good amount of sleep and hydrate yourself. Just because you are not working out does not mean you should stop drinking water for the day! Carbonated drinks do not count as good hydration so try to stay away from them as much as you can. The best way to make sure your drinking water, whether your working out or not, is to just carry around a water bottle with you all the time and refill it.
Anyway this is just a quick post so make sure that you enjoy your rest days, but also keep your body hydrated for your next day of training!
